Starfire and Charity 

At Starfire, charity at the local level is very important to us. It gives us a chance to give something back to the communities that have helped to make us a success. Here are some of the ways we give back to your community.

The Starfire Community Charity Team

Starfire does not randomly make donations to local fundraisers because it is difficult to keep a handle on the money going out. Instead, we have developed a Charity Team that meets regularly to decide which charities we will raise money for each year, and focus our efforts on those organizations.

The team has chosen to support the following charities in 2011:

Events:

• July is Paper Balloon Month at all Starfire Stores. Customers can purchase a paper balloon for $1, with all sales going directly to LLS.

Children's Craniofacial Association

February will be a "Donate Your Change" Month.  The Cambridge, Byesville and Caldwell stores will be raising money for the Cambridge YMCA.  All other stores are raising money for CCA (Children's Craniofacial Association) in Raegan Daugherty's name.

March and April will be "Donate Your Change" months for CCA as well.

August will be our annual golf outing to help raise money for CCA.

September we will have a raffle, all stores will be participating in selling raffle tickets for a nice prize.  All money raised will go to CCA.

November and December will be Food Drive months.  You can donate non-perishable food at our stores, then we will deliver the items to a locate food drive.

Other Sponsorships

Starfire Stores sponsored a Cambridge Little League team this year and donated several cases of Starfire Water to the concession stand.

Starfire Store also sponsor the Cambridge YMCA Gymnastics team.

Starfire bottled water donations

If your organization is in need of bottled water, we can donate it by the case. See your local Starfire Store manager for details.
